This is another great Final Fantasy game release by Square Enix.
Although it is a series of Final Fantasy games, the gameplay of this release is completely different from the previous Final Fantasy series games with the new battle system which is known as Digital Mind Wave, or "DMW", it revolves around a series of reels at the upper left corner of the screen which spin continuously as long as there are Soldier Points, or "SP" left to consume. The different number combination given by the DMW will provide the player(zack) a battle bonus for that battle only. The leveling up of player(zack) no longer depend on the amount of experience accumulated from the battles but the chance of getting 777 in the power surge(power surge is a event that will happen if the reels have 2 of the similars character faces)and the player(zack)no longer use the limit breaks as and when they wants. They have to wait for the chance of the DMW reels to reel all of the same character faces. The use of magic will also be different as the magic will appear as a command rather than rather than in a separate sub-menu and there is no a place for the player(zack) to rest .The game is a story about zack that happen before the plot of the pc/ps game of Final Fantasy 7.The game eventually lead to the story plot of the pc/ps game of Final Fantasy 7.
